SUSAN M. CICCARELLI, Senior Aesthetician
Susan’s journey from Hershey, Pennsylvania, to her current home in the Low Country has been one of determination and evolution, marked by her unwavering commitment to education and a profound passion for Medical Aesthetics. After earning two degrees from the University of South Carolina in just six years, Susan initially embarked on a career in education. However, driven by her desire to pursue her true calling, she returned to school, ultimately leading her to the dynamic world of aesthetics.
Since joining LUX ~ A Medical Spa in 2014, Susan has flourished in her role as a Senior Aesthetician, specializing in advanced treatments such as Sciton Laser Treatments and Morpheus 8. In this capacity, she collaborates closely with physicians and the spa director to develop and refine procedure protocols, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. Additionally, she takes pride in training other practitioners, sharing her expertise and helping elevate the skills of her colleagues.
Her dedication to mastering the intricacies of laser technology is evident through her extensive training, including Laser Preceptorships with Sciton, which have established her as a respected authority within the industry.
In recognition of her expertise, Susan was selected for the prestigious Aesthetic Leadership Community by Obagi in 2015, a testament to her standing among the top 60 skincare professionals nationally. This elite group reflects the innovation and excellence she brings to her practice.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Susan treasures her time as a “boy mom” to her three sons: Aiden, Jacob, and Lucca. She finds profound joy in helping her patients meet their aesthetic aspirations and feels privileged to serve as the Senior Aesthetician at LUX ~ A Medical Spa, where she combines her passion for aesthetics with her commitment to making a positive impact on others’ lives.
